Ada PTO

About Us

The Ada Elementary PTO is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization formed to enhance our children’s learning experience at Ada.  We are a membership organization that welcomes all parents and guardians of Ada Elementary students, all of whom are automatically members of our PTO. 
 
As detailed in our bylaws, our objectives are two-fold:
  • To promote the welfare of our children
  • To enrich their educational environment by providing school volunteer programs, participating in fundraising activities as determined by the members and by providing a variety of educational and enrichment activities for the students.
 
To further our support efforts, we produce several major fundraising initiatives each school year. We also offer several ongoing fundraising opportunities, including reward programs at local retailers and collection programs that provide funds for designated collected items. For each of our fundraising initiatives, we have established a committee that serves as its operating division. Managed by a chairperson selected by the PTO Board, each committee produces its event in a manner that adheres to all PTO by-laws and in coordination, when necessary, with the Board.
